Beschreibung
Considering that 2014 was an extremely difficult vintage, with the harvest teams in Rheinhessen sometimes standing knee-deep in mud, Philipp Wittmann can only be congratulated on this „Morstein“, which presents itself excellently ten years later. On the nose, there are chalky, smoky notes, limes, lots of herbs, stone fruit and guavas. And the wine is as intensely aromatic on the nose as it is on the palate, where the fruit is again paired with stony, smoky and zesty notes and ends in a juicy, long finish.
