The winery itself calls its top vineyard Zieregg its „iconic flagship‘. Tement’s Sauvignon Blancs from there are rightly legendary – the very best grapes end up in the „Vinothek Reserve‘, the absolute top of the estate’s quality pyramid. It shines with exotic fruit typical of the variety, surrounded by herbal tones, orange peel and citric notes, as well as a silky texture that caresses the palate. It is also the perfect proof of how well Sauvignon Blanc can age – provided careful vinification and perfect grape material are used. Which is a matter of course for biodynamic pioneer Tement.
