More information about Schönram nature cyclists Radler divides the community of beer connoisseurs into two camps: some like it, others don’t. We don’t want to be biased here, but a well-brewed Radler on a hot, dry summer’s day is undoubtedly a pretty good refreshment.One tasty example in our range of delicious mixed beer drinks is the Naturradler from the Schönram private brewery. The creation is made from the popular Schönramer Hell and natural lemon juice and scores points with a skillful balance of tart beer and tangy, not overly sweet lemonade.Because lemon is an integral part of Mediterranean cuisine, the natural Radler goes perfectly with the cuisine of Italy or Greece. Our favorite dish with the Radler from Schönram is a delicious lemon risotto with fresh dill and grilled zucchinis. The round grain rice is sautéed in butter with celery, carrot, onions, plenty of garlic and the freshly grated zest of a lemon and deglazed with dry white wine. Then gradually stir in the vegetable stock until the rice is cooked but still firm to the bite. A generous knob of cold butter and grated cheese make the risotto even creamier. After seasoning the dish with sea salt and ground black pepper, add lemon juice to taste and a handful of chopped dill. Serve the rice with a few slices of zucchini and an ice-cold Schönramer Naturradler.
