However, because they didn’t want to compromise on taste one bit, they packed their creation to the brim with hops: an extremely generous portion of American aroma hops such as Mosaic, Citra and Cascade give the beer its tropical character and complementary bitterness.Ronald and Sander’s non-alcoholic taste bomb has an alcohol content of less than 0.5%, but is still no lightweight. The golden beer specialty flows into the glass in bright amber and crowns the naturally cloudy body with a considerable amount of white foam. On the nose, tangy citrus notes meet an abundance of tropical fruit, some floral hops and a hint of oven-fresh bread. The first sip is full-bodied and impresses with a creamy mouthfeel and great hop notes. The malt delivers subtle notes of bread crust and sun-ripened grain, but the hops are the main protagonist: fresh citrus notes caress the palate with aromas of mandarin, orange, lime and grapefruit, gradually joined by tropical hints of mango and passion fruit. A hint of pine resin, playful notes of green hop cones and a crisp bitterness round off the taste experience harmoniously.It’s hard to believe that this skillful IPA is non-alcoholic!
