More information about Holsteiner Geister Ole Nööt To refine our walnut specialty, we selected a very special barrel, which was first topped with the top Italian red wine Amarone and then used to finish a Craigellachie single malt.An Imperial Stout from the Wacken Brewery was then stored in it until we took possession of this barrel and matured our walnut schnapps in it.The still slightly present, nutty aromas of the red wine harmonize perfectly with the subtle vanilla and honey notes of the Speyside whisky. The coffee-like and chocolaty character of the dark strong beer also resonates in the interplay of aromas and underlines the mild nuttiness of the walnut.We matured our walnut spirit for over two years in a unique red wine barrel, pre-aged three times, until its full, complex and unique aroma had developed.Enjoy this barrel-aged specialty with all your senses in special moments far away from the hustle and bustle.This barrel-aged specialty spirit is strictly limited to 613 bottles.
