We are celebrating this victory for Franconian beer culture with a real beer specialty from Kundmüller. Weiherer Hopfenweizen is a real highlight among malty wheat beers and impresses with a wonderful hop bouquet that complements the classic wheat notes wonderfully. The hoppy wheat beer from Franconia is brewed with four hop varieties and cold-hopped with Polaris, Cascade and Citra. The result is a slender wheat beer with a lively character and an unusual taste. Weiherer Hopfenweizen flows into the glass in a yeasty amber gold color and is adorned with a stately crown of airy, snow-white foam. The classic aroma of ripe banana, spicy clove and strong yeast is joined on the nose by refreshing notes of sun-kissed orange, yellow stone fruit and juicy hops. The first taste follows the olfactory first impression and delights the tongue and palate with a symphony of balanced hop and malt tones. Creamy banana mingles with clove, yeast and honey, while the hops add a refreshing fruity note and tangy citrus fruit aromas.
