The sour cherries for our fruit brandy are grown in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. They prefer to grow on loose, light, nutrient- and base-rich, sandy loam soils. The sour cherry is a wonderful starting point for a particularly aromatic and balanced fruit brandy.Our fruit brandies undergo a gentle, intensive maceration process during the distillation cycle. The resulting fruit mash, from the fermented fruit, is then distilled in the still and finally – in the column, the 3 bell bottoms of the plant – distilled off.Thanks to many years of experience in fruit processing and state-of-the-art distilling technology, the Schwechow fruit brandy is a real treat for lovers of the finest delicacies.
