Beschreibung
The 2006 „Grange“ is a generous, inviting wine that is easy to open today. „The 2006 Grange has been added to my list of favourite recent vintages,“ writes Lisa Perrotti-Brown in her 98+ point rating for ROBERT PARKER. This year, 97% of the fruit comes from the Barossa Valley and the proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon is just 2% – compared to 98% Syrah. The fruit of the 2006 „Grange“ is pure and juicy with plenty of liquorice, aniseed, olive tapenade, mocha and the best wood. However, it is above all the interplay of pressing acidity and fine-grained tannin that is beguiling – right into the long finish.
