The extremely fine „Opus One“ from a somewhat cooler vintage once again demonstrates the great class of this Mouton/Mondavi joint venture. Dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine displays refreshing but elegant notes of black berries, liquorice and spice cake. These are joined by juicy raspberries and cherries, which give this monument to Californian viticulture a refreshing flavour.
