More information about Mosquito Raspberry Gose Summertime is raspberry time and we can hardly wait for the harvest season of the deep red fruits. The first half kilo goes straight from the bush into our mouths, the rest is diligently collected and processed into heavenly delicacies. Jelly or jam made from raspberries is an exquisite delicacy that turns any bread into a highlight. Juice or wine made from the berries enchants with summery sweetness and an impressive color. Sponge rolls with lightly sweetened vanilla cream and fresh raspberries attract friends from near and far to the coffee table. Raspberry vinegar is an unusual addition to salad dressings and provides a fruity acidity that goes perfectly with summer vegetables and leafy salads. There are certainly a thousand other ways to get the best out of raspberries, but our favorite is undoubtedly beer. Anyone who now turns up their nose critically has certainly never tried a raspberry beer. The cheeky little fruit harmonizes perfectly with the tartness and bitterness of the barley juice and enriches every brew with freshness and summery flair. A favorite, for example, is the raspberry Gose from Mücke: The brewery from the Ruhrpott region has given the classic Gose a fruity kick, landing an absolute bull’s eye. The sweet and sour berry goes perfectly with the natural acidity of the beer style and perfectly complements the salt, coriander and citrus notes of the hops.
