Just as impressive is the classic aroma of dark and red fruits paired with spices. Notes of blackcurrants and raspberries are particularly present. Nuances of olives and white pepper add great accents to the fruity aromas, while the silky tannin structure caresses the palate. The red wine, which has matured for 24 months in French oak, is therefore a highlight in the wine glass on its own. The Mont Rochelle Miko Syrah, of which only 3557 bottles were produced, is also a wonderful accompaniment to savory dishes, game or dark meat.
