The scent of dark fruits pampers the connoisseur’s senses, with aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants particularly present. Undertones of vanilla and licorice lend the bouquet a spicy component. On the palate, the refined cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon (54%) and Merlot (46%) is well structured and delights with a soft and long-lasting finish. The red wine, which has matured for twenty months in barriques, is therefore a culinary highlight in its own right, but Marianne Desirade is also an excellent accompaniment to spicy dishes or dishes with dark meat or duck.
