More information about Marder sour cherry brandy The sour cherries, like the Black Forest cherries, come from Baden’s sunniest region, the Markgräflerland, and grow on the western slopes of the southern Black Forest. A brandy that always goes down well. The sour cherry is the fruitiest representative of its kind and produces a wonderfully juicy, fresh and elegant fruit embedded in a subtle hint of bitter almond. This is because it only has just under half the sugar and the almond note is therefore spread over much less distillate. With its typical fruity tones, it is sweet, expressive and long-lasting on the palate.
