We always used to dispose of the rest. But that hurt our souls: wasting food is a no-go for us both at home and at work.So we decided to make a lemon liqueur from it. And lo and behold, the liqueur has become an insider tip and our customers‘ favorite. It is based on a macerate made from lemon peel and other citrus fruits. The juice collected from the distillations is frozen – some of the solids then flocculate – and then used as a „dilution“ to bring it down to 20% vol.The first variants were still naturally cloudy – unfortunately this flocculated over time, so we have now opted for a clear variant.Our insider tip!
