These single malt whiskies reflect the soul of Saxony with their unmistakable character and taste. Martin Brambach, known as a crime scene inspector, actor, author and connoisseur, regularly inspects the progress of production and is convinced of the outstanding quality of these Saxon whiskies.This whisky is first stored in American bourbon casks and then matured in sherry casks. This special ageing process gives it its amber color and a fruity, nutty note.A wealth of typical sherry aromas unfold on the nose. Dark, ripe fruit, nuts, raisins, dark chocolate and cocoa dominate. There are also subtle woody notes, a hint of vanilla, glazed mandarins and delicate citrus aromas.On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied, oily and spicy, accompanied by plenty of ripe fruit. Raisins, dark chocolate and cocoa are clearly present, followed by roasted aromas, spices, toffee and a hint of coffee.The finish is strong and dry, with notes of dark chocolate and a hint of ginger. Raisins, cocoa and toffee linger on the palate for a long time.
