In this vintage of the century, Christian Moueix has delivered his masterpiece with his Napa Valley vineyard Dominus. The wine is always very massive and dense with complex aromas. 2021 adds the balance and elegance of a great vintage. Although consisting of almost 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the signature of the former Petrus owner is unmistakable. Dark, intense fruit is underpinned by a whole range of spices and aromas such as licorice, eucalyptus and fine cocoa. You have to give it some time, but then something great will grow. Both Jeb Dunnuck and the Decanter awarded it a full 100 points.
