Pavie Macquin’s direct neighbor has basically developed in a similar way. The excellent terroir with its limestone soils is now used to produce mineral, elegant and hedonistic wines. Until a few years ago, the wines from this 1er Cru Classé vineyard were somewhat more powerful with sometimes a little too much power and wood. Today things are different, and the 2021 proves this impressively with its predominantly elegant red berry fruit and salty minerality!
