The strictly biodynamically cultivated vineyard has undergone a clear change of direction since turning to organic viticulture. It used to be a true Pauillac that lived up to its status, but was never spectacular. Today it is completely different. A few years ago, we were able to see for ourselves a level of perfectionism that is quite remarkable. The wines are precise, silky and very Cabernet Sauvignon, although the proportion is not excessively high at around 60%. There is also no second wine, as this does not fit in with the philosophy of the holistic approach. The methods are particularly effective in the 2021. Ripe Cabernet fruit, the finest tannins and a great deal of florality once again make this a very special Pauillac, but a typical Pontet!
