Léoville Poyferre 2022 is a wine that connoisseurs will not necessarily love, but fans of the winery will love all the more. Always quite opulent and mouth-filling, it probably reaches its peak in this vintage. However, with Poyferré, one never gets the impression that anything is excessive. Rich black and red fruit, enormous floral notes, and plenty of pressure on the palate, together with polished tannins, create a very intense impression that is not necessarily typical of St. Julien, but is certainly typical of Poyferré.
