When it comes to red Burgundy, the Rudolf Fürst winery is one of the benchmarks in Germany. In addition to the two premium vineyards Centgrafenberg and Hundsrück, a Pinot Noir of remarkable class is also vinified in Bürgstadt from the 1st vineyard Berg. No wonder, as the grapes for this wine also come exclusively from plots located within the two Grand Cru sites. The 2020 Berg is highly elegant and remarkably dry, with juicy cherry fruit and a hint of raspberry and black pepper. A fine acidity accompanies the remarkably long finish – a perfect accompaniment to game birds or braised veal.
