The wines of Toni Bodenstein from Weingut Prager are unique and exceptional. This is particularly true of his Riesling from a 460-metre-high plot in Achleiten. He planted it around 1990, when everyone else thought he was crazy. Climate change has proved him right. Old genetics from the Mosel and the Rheingau lead to a highly complex, salty-mineral, juicy, fresh wine full of energy, fine juiciness and fleshy fruit. A great Riesling with even greater independence.
