Beschreibung
The Ried Am Zaun vineyard is located 200 meters above sea level and is characterized by chernozem?black soil made up of alluvial material and loess. In the Wachau region, this location is called Zaum. Pinot Blanc benefits from the high limestone content here, which lends minerality and salty finesse. The wine was fermented in steel tanks (2.2 g residual sugar) and aged in large wooden barrels. Medium golden yellow, fine herbs, pear, tobacco nuances, dark minerality. Tight on the palate, complex, with white pome fruit, salty finish, and harmonious expression.
