In the „G.C.? – i.e. „Grand Crus? – Bürklin-Wolf’s internal classification system – the 2022 vintage earned the estate a 100-point rating from JAMES SUCKLING. But the year also brought Rieslings of exceptional quality in the Premiers, known as „P.C.? at Bürklin-Wolf. This also applies to the Wachenheimer Gerümpel: the 2022 is an exemplary Riesling characterized by noblesse and depth. Yellow fruit, multi-layered herbal tones and a rather dark minerality characterize the wine, which is also characterized by juiciness, a firm structure and a remarkable smoothness. A food companion at the very highest level, which will cut an excellent figure with both Wiener Schnitzel and Italian veal cutlet preparations.
