The wine from Château Leoville Las Cases grows on a special terroir of the 2ème GCC. And although it is not classified for this reason, it is clearly at Cru Classé level. Despite its high Merlot content (approx. 45%), the 2022 is very powerful and could just as easily have been grown in the commune of Pauillac (it is only a few meters further north). The wine has a very complex aroma of red and black fruits and a salty minerality at the end!
