The „Brut Nature Cuvée No. 204? from the sparkling wine estate of the Christmann family and sparkling wine specialist Matthieu Kauffmann is an assemblage of spontaneously fermented Pinot Noir (50%), Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc (25% each). The base wine comes from the 2021 vintage and was disgorged as Brut Nature in November 2024. It is an intense, elegant, fantastically balanced sparkling wine with fine reductive and yeasty notes, a touch of oxidative apple fruit, plenty of iodine and lemon. On the palate, „No. 204? appears lively, fine, balanced, and saline.
